Katanga Slum is a settlement located in the valley between Mulago Hospital and Makerere University, in Uganda's capital city, Kampala. We had a chance of doing a seed project there with watoto church central.
We cleaned the trenches which had been clogged because of poor waste disposal and causing the water not to move and the result was bad stench putting them at a high risk of diseases.
Then we also gave them dustbins for proper waste disposal and also taught them how to properly dispose off their waste,because properly disposed waste can be useful.
We also got a chance to play football with community football making us bond.
Katanga still needs to be reached out too.And in the near future we hope to go back.
